From browsing to arriving — four steps, no hidden surprises.
Search on the Discover page or explore the map. Filter by type, region, difficulty, or duration. Open any listing to read the full itinerary, pricing, what's included, and the host's profile. You can message a host directly from the listing before you commit to anything.
Choose your dates and group size, select a payment method, and submit your request. Your card details are saved securely via Stripe at this point, but nothing is charged — the card is only authorised (a temporary hold), not debited.
The host can accept your dates, propose an alternative set of dates, or decline. Your card is authorised but not charged during this window. If the host doesn't respond within 24 hours, the hold is released automatically and you're not charged. If nothing is confirmed, you pay nothing.
When the host accepts (or you accept their alternate dates), your card is charged and you receive a booking confirmation by email. The host is then notified that funds are secured and your trip is on.
No payment is taken unless a host confirms your dates.
Your card is authorised at the time of request so the host knows payment is ready — but the charge only goes through on confirmation. If the host declines or doesn't respond, the authorisation is released and you're not charged.
