Nepal Untrodden (“we,” “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We do not sell personal data to third parties for their own marketing.
Data is shared only as needed to deliver a booking — a host sees a traveller's necessary booking details, and a traveller sees a host's public listing information. Payment data is shared with Stripe, our payment processor, to complete transactions. Beyond this, we share data only where required by law.
Account and booking data is retained while an account is active, plus a further period to meet legal and tax obligations. Financial records are retained for at least 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year, in line with standard UK practice. Other personal data is deleted or anonymised once no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and can object to certain uses of it, by contacting us. To exercise any of these rights, email support@nepaluntrodden.com.
Personal data is protected using encryption and access controls appropriate to its sensitivity.
Because Nepal Untrodden connects travellers with Nepal-based hosts, some data is processed outside the UK/EEA. We take appropriate steps to protect data transferred this way, in line with UK data protection law.
Nepal Untrodden is not intended for use by anyone under 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
