Accommodation is in teahouses throughout, with a three-star hotel in Kathmandu at the start and end of the journey. The Manaslu Circuit passes through a rich cultural corridor, transitioning from Hindu Gurung and Tamang communities in the lower hills to Tibetan Buddhist villages at higher elevations. Trekkers should dress modestly, remove shoes before entering monasteries, walk clockwise around stupas and mani walls, and seek permission before photographing local people. Carrying extra local currency is advisable as ATMs are unavailable along the trail. Respect for local customs and religious sites is essential throughout the journey.
