“Kanchenjunga trek à la carte and Bardia Nov 2025 • Friends This year it’s decided, I’m going on the trek to Kangchenjunga, I’m done postponing, I’ve been thinking about it for too long and nothing happens. I'm moving on to realisation, to concrete at last. First of all find one or more people to accompany me, I do not want to go alone, I need to share. I finally find the person, it'll be Gilles, a 30-year-old friend. Now we have to organize it, because I have a vision of what I want. No constraints, flexibility, freedom, I want to enjoy. Another friend of more than 30 years, Christophe gives me the contact details of Ramesh and his agency Attentive Holiday Tours and Travel. Here we are in communication Ramesh and I to express my desires and tells me what is possible to do. Finally we will be in Nepal 34 days, the trek normally lasts 15 days walking, we have 19 days to do it that is 4 days more, for acclimatization, rest, exploration, take time to see and watch, holidays what! With the journeys we should have an extra week on site, we will decide at that time. We arrive in Nepal on October 30, 2025, waterspouts fall. In the mountains, snow falls. Ramesh is there at the airport waiting for us, he greets us and calls a car to accompany us to the hotel, it is an electric car with room for luggage and a very good driver who remains calm despite the traffic jams. The departure by plane scheduled for Saturday, November 1st is compromised due to the weather and postponed to Sunday or Monday. To sum up Ramesh plans everything, all transfers, all planes, all accommodation, you never find yourself alone. He made a calculation of our expenses during the trek and after the trek. He calculated the tips of the guide and the porter. He even went to change money for us. He's always been there. When we came back from the trek, we met him at the Hotel, he checked on us, let us rest by giving us an appointment for the next morning to see what we could do. The next day we discussed our desires with his proposals. There were never any problems. The trek went very well, 18 days hiking in the mountains, beautiful. It was followed by 5 days in Bardia National Park interspersed with travel and visits to the city of Kathmandu. “Kathmandu/Kangchenjunga trek and Badiya national park Nov 2025 • Friends At the instigation of a friend I finally decided to discover Nepal through a trek around the kangchenjunga, Pierrot my partner and referent in this matter, contact Ramesh of the agency Attentive Holiday Tours, who will do everything to concoct a complete stay including from the reception from the airport by Ramesh in person to our hotel in the thamel district the "kailash kutee", then the visit of different parks and temples (durbar square, monkey temple etc...) around Kathmandu accompanied by a very friendly Francophone guide. Then departure by plane to biratnagar accompanied by our guide Dilliram or awaits us a big day of 4x4 to Taplejung and the next day the 1st stage that will lead us to Sekatum. Following, the steps will follow with landscapes always magnificent but sometimes more difficult and committed, we will lead our pathman valiantly always accompanied by Dilliram and Bishal our porter both always available and listening to us. Snow this year will prevent us from reaching the northern and southern base camps, and we will have to fight the biting cold above 4000m (our 2 nights in Lonak). We will find more warmth and comfort when we return to Kathmandu... Our stay does not stop there, the program organized by Ramesh will make us fly back to Nepaljung and spend a little week in the Nepalese jungle in the heart of Badiya National Park to see elephants, tigers, rhinos and other wildlife (splendor and almost relaxing week in milder temperatures). The return is imminent, but before the big departure, Ramesh takes us to spend a night in Nagardkot (little icing on the cake) and the next day guided tour of Bhaktapur and Patan close to Kathmandu. Tomorrow back to Paris Charles de Gaulle, for a long time I will remember this stay in Nepal, everything we lived there, all these images, our meetings and the Nepalese... “Mera Peak trek Sept 2025 • Solo I used this company in 2024 to undertake the trek to Everest Base Camp & Khala Patthar. It was a life changing trek and my first experience of trekking in the Himalayas. Ever since that experience I have been hoping to return. Due to my fantastic initial experience it seemed natural to use them again when I returned on this occasion to attempt to summit Mera Peak. This trek is not for the weak or faint hearted. It is an advanced trek that is tough even for the most experienced hikers. Due to time constraints in did the trek in the shortest time possible which limited my acclimatisation days. As such I did not actually summit, but did reach 6200m. The fact that I didn't summit didn't detract from the overall wonderful experience. My Sherpa, Pemba, was exceptional. Extremely knowledgeable in everything to do with the Himalayas, very connected..seemed like everyone was his brother or sister 😁, and had the strength of 100 men. He was also both encouraging & was very happy to go at your pace. Ramesh who runs the company is very generous, always in contact, and permeates a feeling that anything is possible and nothing is too much. I cannot speak more highly of this very professional outfit & when I return again in 2026, I will not hesitate to use them again. I highly recommend them for any Nepalese trip.”
